Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist - Turner to join our dynamic team at 5D Bespoke People Solutions Ltd. This role involves the operation and programming of advanced CNC lathes, specifically 5 Axis Mazak machines, ensuring precision and quality in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate 5 Axis Mazak Lathes, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
  • Programming: Utilize Mazatrol and other established CNC controls for online and offline programming of the lathe.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct dimensional inspections of machined parts to verify compliance with tolerance levels.
  • Process Setup: Select appropriate tooling, clamp billets securely, and establish datum points for program calibration.
  • Monitoring: Oversee the machining process, promptly addressing any operational issues that may arise.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in 5 Axis CNC Turning.
  • Familiarity with CNC Lathe programming, preferably with Mazatrol.
  • Knowledge of quality inspection processes and standards.
Working Conditions

This position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with opportunities for overtime compensated at a premium rate. Employees enjoy a generous leave policy, including 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays.
