This role offers the chance to work on a cutting-edge comms platform, collaborating with two other consultant architects to roadmap the platform and move the organization into a new age SIPS and VOIP environment.

With complete ownership and only one reporting line, you will have the autonomy to deliver a scalable and maintainable software solution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and modifying software applications and components based on business and customer requirements.
  • Writing effective, succinct, and maintainable code.
  • Maintaining awareness of changes to the software technology landscape and personal networks.
  • Working on Group Projects as directed by Programme Manager, Project Manager, and/or Development Manager.

Requirements include:

  • A minimum of 5 years commercial experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in C++, Windows, IP basics, sub-netting, routing, Linux, Asterisk, and Windows OS internals.
  • Experience with M2M comms/protocols, sockets programming, and installer experience.
  • Knowledge of C# and Visual Studio Online.
  • Ability to work through the full application development lifecycle using traditional and Agile methodologies.

This role requires a complete understanding of application development life cycle, knowledge of safety critical, reliable, and performance critical systems, and the ability to rapidly learn new software and maintain competency with developing technologies.

The developer role reports to the Development Team Leader with responsibilities to one or more projects as required.
