About the Role

As a Pension Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role from day one.

This position will enable you to assist the Actuarial Manager in overseeing the technical and professional demands of the Funding Strategy team, ensuring that all outputs adhere to actuarial standards and compliance requirements. Your technical actuarial support will extend to:

USSIM in their capacity as investment manager and advisor Development of stochastic models to evaluate asset liability risks and benefit structure innovations Acting as a liaison with the Scheme Actuary's team regarding technical and professional actuarial matters

Key Responsibilities

As an integral member of the Group Risk and Funding team, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting the Actuarial Manager in managing the technical and professional aspects of the Funding Strategy Team's work Enhancing the systems utilized by the team Communicating technical issues effectively Upholding professional responsibilities and compliance Providing actuarial input for the Scheme's valuation Overseeing the technical aspects of regular reporting for the Financial Management Plan, including coordinating inputs related to covenant and investment Offering actuarial support for the administration of the Scheme Assisting the Actuarial Manager in providing technical support to USSIM Managing the relationship with Moody regarding valuation software (PFaroe), serving as the primary contact for issue resolution Facilitating collaboration between the Funding Strategy Team and the Scheme Actuary's Team Aiding the Actuarial Manager in developing materials for executive and Board presentations

About You

A qualified Fellow of the Faculty and Institute of Actuaries Proven experience in managing both technical and professional aspects of actuarial work, with strong communication skills to facilitate understanding
