We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rheumatology Consultant to join our team at Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust.

• Direct Clinical Care: Provide high-quality patient care through outpatient clinics, administrative tasks, and clinical multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Supporting Professional Activities: Participate in service development, clinical governance, and educational supervision of junior trainees.

• Membership of the Royal College of Physicians or equivalent qualifications.
• Specialist registration with the General Medical Council and licensed to practice.
• Completion of higher training (CCT or within 6 months of obtaining CCT in Rheumatology at time of interview).
• Experience of audits and publications in recognized medical and rheumatology journals.

The post will be flexibly time-tabled to meet the demands of the service, with a weekly timetable of fixed commitments.

• Secretarial support and an adequately equipped office, including IT facilities.
