Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Special School in Ystrad Rhondda, RCT. The successful candidate will support learners with ASD, PDA, Global Delay Disorder, and challenging behavior.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and supervise learners with ASD, PDA, Global Delay Disorder, or Challenging Behaviour
  • Assist learners at the start and end of the school day
  • Prepare the classroom for lessons and work with learners in small groups or one-to-one
  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and engage learners in classroom and out-of-classroom activities
Requirements
  • At least 3 months' experience working with children in schools, nurseries, or childcare settings
  • Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) or willingness to obtain
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain
  • The right to work in the UK
