Job Summary:

Pertemps Bond is seeking an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join our team on a temporary ongoing basis. As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be working in conjunction with other sites across the UK to ensure that all customer expectations are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all hauliers are accurately paid on time, either through purchase orders or commercial freight exchange debrief.
  • Liaise with both external and internal customers as and when required.
  • Respond promptly and resolve all telephone and email queries.
  • Book in deliveries with customers.
  • Chase outstanding deliveries and reasons for their delays, including updating service reports.
  • Ensure relevant custom paperwork has been completed for deliveries.
  • Adhere to all health and safety aspects as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous planning experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to show initiative and be proactive in resolving problems encountered.
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivation, and planning skills.
  • Good analytical and numerical skills.
