About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients with spinal cord injuries, neurological conditions, and acquired brain injuries.

Our ideal candidate will have a kind and caring nature, flexibility, and reliability. You will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and have good communication skills. In return, you will receive a competitive daily rate, accrued holiday pay, a Nest Personal Pension account, and full specialist training.

About the Client

Our client is a female who lives on her own and has a spinal cord injury. She is independent, drives her own vehicle, and enjoys going out and about in the community. She attends the local Spinal Unit weekly as a volunteer and values developing a good working relationship with her support worker.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting, to our client with a spinal cord injury.
  • Support our client with domestic tasks and social activities.
  • Work flexible bank assignments with the opportunity to work across other packages as well.
