The Urology Department at NHS National Services Scotland is a leading healthcare provider, renowned for its innovative approach to medical care. Our department offers a comprehensive range of services, including state-of-the-art BPH/endourology services, as well as subspecialties such as urological cancers, robotics, and female reconstruction surgery.
We are seeking a highly skilled Specialty Doctor to join our team of 10 Consultants, 4 Specialist Registrars, and 2 Specialty Doctors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking theatre, ward, and outpatient commitments on both the Victoria Hospital and Queen Margaret Hospital sites.
Our department offers a supportive environment, with an Educational Supervisor available to provide training opportunities in various sub-specialty areas. We are committed to supporting continued training for the successful candidate, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their role.
To be eligible for this position, you must have full registration with the General Medical Council, hold a current licence to practise, and have completed at least 4 years full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis), at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee in a relevant specialty or have equivalent experience and competencies.
