About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Development Nurse to lead our clinical governance and quality of care initiatives across our nursing homes in Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the development of clinical governance and quality of care initiatives across our nursing homes
  • Review and analyze clinical governance data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement practical strategies to ensure compliance with regulations and improve patient care
  • Work closely with regional directors, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to plan and implement key actions to address issues and improve standards
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Current NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN)
  • Experience of working in a care home environment and as a clinical mentor
  • Strong understanding of current regulatory requirements
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and develop practical solutions
