The Recruitment Co. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our clients' team as a Trunking Driver.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious driver to transport goods and materials over long distances, ensuring timely and secure delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport goods and materials from one location to another, adhering to strict safety and regulatory guidelines.
  • Operate a Class 1 vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition and meets all necessary safety standards.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking and documentation.
  • Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.
  • Participate in regular vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Experience in long-distance trucking and knowledge of transportation regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of long-distance driving.
