Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating aseptic filling lines, manufacturing pharmaceuticals, and performing various operational duties to ensure compliance with cGMP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacturing Operations: Set up and operate aseptic filling lines, manufacture pharmaceuticals, and perform manufacturing, filling, and packaging operational duties.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain clean rooms/equipment to regulatory standards, perform Clean In Place (CIP) and Steam In Place (SIP) activities, and operate airlocks, autoclaves, and automated equipment cleaning systems.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor equipment status, report any faults or issues to Supervision, and communicate instances of non-conformance for investigation and rectification.
  • Project Support: Support project validation work and new product introduction, and perform SAP transactions and use Quality systems for GMP changes and report writing.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment, with knowledge of aseptic manufacturing and filling desirable.
  • Education: Strong competency in English and Math, with a scientific background (A-Levels) essential.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage workload, and experience in Lean systems and Continuous Improvement.
