About the Role
We are partnering with a Further Education College in West Yorkshire to find an experienced Construction Tutor/Lecturer to join their team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students aged over 14+, focusing on Construction Multi Skills up to Level 3.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging face-to-face and online lessons, potentially including evenings and non-term times.
- Provide guidance and support to students through tutorials, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate records using relevant systems.
- Contribute to the recruitment process by assisting with the admission of new students.
- Participate actively in team meetings, course reviews, and evaluations to ensure continuous improvement.
Your Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a minimum C&G Level 3 qualification in any construction skill (e.g., Carpentry, Joinery, Bricklaying).
- Have experience teaching Multi Skills up to Level 3, either on-site with apprentices or within a classroom setting.
- Ideally possess an Assessors Award (A1, V1, IQA etc.).
- Hold a relevant UK Teaching Qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, PTLLS) or be willing to work towards one as the College offers support in this area.
