JMC Aviation is seeking a highly skilled NDT Technician to join their team at their Biggin Hill facility. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the NDT process, meeting customer demands, and maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize the integrated quality management system to ensure efficient and effective NDT processes.
- Develop and maintain technique method sheets for the testing of components, adhering to company and industry statutory operational specifications.
- Apply knowledge of EASA 145 requirements and other applicable aviation regulations to ensure compliance.
- Inspect and verify the condition of various components passing through the NDT area, maintaining accurate records.
- Participate in internal and external training courses to maintain and develop certification relevance.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure legal operation.
- Monitor and improve operating methods to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Work within established company policies, procedures, and agreements.
- Aerospace Apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
- NDT theory and practice, including Eddy Current L2, Magnetic Particle Inspection L2, Liquid (Dye) Penetrant L2, and Ultrasonic Testing L2.
- Experience working to EASA 145 requirements.
- Component inspection experience.
- Proficiency in IT, including SAP or similar business software, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
- Basic knowledge of EASA/CAA/FAA requirements and other applicable aviation regulations.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety working practices.
- Fluent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent.
- Right to live and work in the UK.
