About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Portfolio Analyst to join our team at Orbit Group, a leading developer of affordable housing in the UK. As a key member of our Portfolio Team, you'll play a crucial role in reviewing the performance of our 34,000+ social rented homes and proposing asset management strategies to improve portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain our Asset Performance Evaluation Model (APE) and Thriving Communities Models (TCS) to guide decision-making.
  • Deliver an annual model refresh program, monitoring and reporting on the impact of change on Orbit's portfolio performance.
  • Recommend strategies for improving portfolio performance, focusing on developing a pipeline of poor-performing schemes.
  • Interrogate and understand data from colleagues to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Produce a five-year Quality Improvement Pipeline (QIP) using quantitative and qualitative data.
What You'll Bring
  • Excellent data manipulation skills, with experience in cash-flow models and spreadsheet analysis.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • Relevant experience, qualification, or equivalent.
