The Interventional Radiology Service at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a dynamic and exciting place to work. As a Staff Nurse, you will be part of a small, established team of nurses, radiographers, Consultants, and support staff who are committed to providing our patients with the highest possible standard of care.
Main Duties of the JobAs a Staff Nurse in Interventional Radiology, you will be responsible for assisting with the care of patients attending the Interventional Radiology Suite. This will include providing pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-recovery care to patients undergoing interventional radiology and cardiology procedures. You will also be required to learn a range of skills as a scrub nurse, circulating nurse, and in the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-recovery care of patients.
Person SpecificationWe are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is committed to their own personal development and has a keen interest in the future development of the profession and imaging services. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in an Acute hospital clinical setting and be able to demonstrate a caring attitude towards patients. They will also be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and staff at all levels, both verbally and via written documentation.
