Principal Hardware Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Hardware Design Engineer to join our team at Vector Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our R&D group, you will be responsible for leading the development of cutting-edge technology projects in the defence and security sector, as well as medical device and consumer electronics product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design projects and teams to develop high-end embedded application hardware architectures
- Design and develop analogue and digital electronics systems with expertise in CPUs, SoCs, high-speed communication, and DDRx memory
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development from concept generation to prototypes and implementation
- Ensure compliance with relevant security clearance requirements
Requirements:
- 2.1 or above degree in Electronics or a closely related field
- Recent and relevant experience working as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer or Principal Engineer
- Excellent knowledge and experience in analogue and digital electronics design
- Strong leadership and project management skills
