Field Service Technician

Role Overview:

We are currently seeking Workshop Engineers and Mobile/Field Service Engineers to work at our workshops. As a successful candidate, you will be part of a dedicated team providing service support for a diverse range of Grass Machinery and Groundcare Equipment, reporting directly to the Workshop Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Your duties will include:

  • Servicing a wide variety of equipment utilized in the groundcare and horticultural sectors.
  • This encompasses tractors, commercial mowers, golf course machinery, golf carts, light trucks, and handheld tools.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining accurate reporting.
  • Engaging directly with clients.
  • Reporting to the depot Workshop Foreman.
  • Initially working from the workshop with the potential to transition to a field-based role.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
You should possess:

  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems related to Ground Care Machinery or a similar field.
  • Experience with Diesel Engines.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • A valid UK driving licence.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience as an engineer working with groundcare equipment or comparable machinery.
  • Proximity to the depots in Aberdeenshire, Inverness, or Glasgow.
