Job Summary

The Training and Skills Development Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs for examination staff to ensure they are well-trained and competent in their roles. This includes developing comprehensive training materials, conducting training sessions, and providing ongoing support and guidance to staff.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Training Program Development:
    • Design and develop training programs that cover all aspects of exam administration, compliance, and customer service.
    • Create training materials, manuals, and resources to support the delivery of effective training sessions.
    • Ensure training programs align with industry regulations, awarding body requirements, and company policies.
  2. Training Delivery:
    • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars for new and existing staff.
    • Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff to address any training needs and enhance their performance.
    • Serve as the company lead point of contact for all training and development.
  3. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    • Regularly review and update training materials to reflect changes in regulations, best practices, and company procedures.
    • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, implementing improvements as needed.
  4. Staff Development:
    • Identify training and development needs through assessments, performance reviews, and feedback.
    • Support the professional growth of staff by offering development opportunities and career progression advice.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
  5. Administrative Responsibilities:
    • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and assessments.
    • Prepare reports on training outcomes and staff performance.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure training programs meet operational needs and objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a training and development role, preferably within the examination or education sector.
  • Strong understanding of examination procedures, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to assess training needs and develop effective training programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
