About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Semi Senior to join our team at TPF Recruitment. As an Audit and Accounts Semi Senior, you will be responsible for providing high-quality audit and accounts services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Audit and Accounts Seniors and Managers, you will focus mainly on audit and accounts activities.
- Support a varied portfolio of clients from owner-managed to not-for-profit organizations.
- Assist with audits from planning through to completion, liaising with the team and client where necessary.
- Provide accountancy and taxation advice and support to clients as necessary.
- Support with and conduct pre-audit and post-audit meetings with clients.
- Assist in the management of a team of trainee accountants.
- Mentor colleagues, reviewing their work and encouraging prompt and high-quality delivery and service.
- Develop and expand the team's skillset through development plans and training and support.
- Contribute to the firm's growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA studying or qualified by experience.
- Demonstrable experience within an accountancy firm within a semi senior or senior audit and accounts role.
- Technically proficient in audit and accounts with excellent attention to detail.
- A can-do attitude to problem-solving.
- Able to manage own workload effectively.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills.
