Night Site Operations Manager

Job Summary
Mears Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of planned works contracts and ensuring that all associated staff are adequately resourced and effectively delivering works to set quality standards and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Delivery
- Manage the day-to-day operational delivery of planned works contracts and ensure that all associated staff are adequately resourced.
- Ensure that works are effectively delivered to set quality standards and within budget.
- Site Management
- Manage and monitor work programme progression and completion via ongoing site visits.
- Ensure that all site staff are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Subcontractor Management
- Manage and monitor subcontractors to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Ensure that all subcontractors are adequately resourced and effectively delivering works to set quality standards and within budget.
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure that all works are delivered to the required quality standards.
- Identify and report any quality issues or concerns to the relevant stakeholders.
- Health and Safety
- Ensure that all site staff are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Identify and report any health and safety issues or concerns to the relevant stakeholders.
- Reporting and Communication
- Provide regular reports to the relevant stakeholders on the progress of works and any issues or concerns.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including site staff, subcontractors, and clients.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving License
- IT Literate
- Construction/Social Housing Experience
- SMSTS Qualification or Project Management Experience
- Asbestos Awareness/Working at Height
- Domestic Retrofit Experience
- Site Manager Experience
- Project Delivery Expertise
- Renovation Experience in Social Housing
- Risk Assessment and Method Statements
