About the Role

Purbeck Health Centre is looking for a salaried General Practitioner to become a part of our dynamic practice, contributing 2 days per week. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the chance to provide care and support to a varied patient demographic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all general duties and responsibilities typical of a GP in a primary care setting.
  • Access to a duty doctor on both working days.
  • Conduct one home visit each day.
  • Manage 20 same-day, face-to-face consultations.
  • Utilize 10-minute appointment slots for patient interactions.
  • Benefit from built-in administrative time totaling 5 hours daily.
  • Engage with 9 patients in the morning session and 11 in the afternoon.
  • Enjoy a 1-hour lunch break.
  • Handle all necessary paperwork, including tasks, prescriptions, letters, and results.
  • Receive support from a dedicated nursing team.
  • Enjoy 5 weeks of annual leave plus an additional week for study leave.
About the Candidate

Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Fully qualified GP with GMC registration.
  • Annual appraisal and revalidation (as applicable).
  • Inclusion on the NHSE medical performers list.
