Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and creative Junior Architect to contribute to the success of our dynamic team at New Level Construction. The ideal candidate will assist in the development of architectural projects, collaborating closely with senior architects and project managers. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their skills in a supportive environment while contributing to innovative design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the preparation of architectural designs, drawings, and specifications using software such as AutoCAD and Sketchup.
  2. Collaborate with team members to develop project concepts and present ideas effectively.
  3. Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information for design development.
  4. Participate in project management tasks, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  5. Prepare visual presentations using Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design ideas.
  6. Engage in negotiations with clients as required during project development.
  7. Maintain accurate documentation of all project-related materials and communications.

Requirements

  1. A degree in Architecture or Interior Design is essential.
  2. Proficiency in architectural software including AutoCAD and Sketchup is essential, along with Microsoft Excel.
  3. Previous experience or internships in an architectural firm will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
  4. Strong project management skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail.
  6. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to negotiate effectively when required.
  7. Experience in planning applications and building control would be ideal.
