Job SummaryWe are looking for a Certification Manager to oversee the certification and regulatory compliance of offshore wind projects. The successful candidate will work closely with independent certification bodies, suppliers, and project teams to ensure all projects meet industry standards for safety, quality, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on the latest offshore wind regulations and facilitate audits, reviews, offshore visits to ensure all certifications are completed on time.
- Standards Adherence: Interpret and apply industry standards to project requirements.
- Schedule and Cost Management: Monitor project timelines and costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules.
- Risk Management: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments related to certification processes and develop mitigation strategies to minimize risk exposure.
- Documentation Management: Oversee the organization and maintenance of all certification documentation and traceability.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and implement quality assurance protocols to ensure projects meet or exceed certification requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address any certification-related challenges and ensure smooth project execution.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, timelines, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Experience with Aconex and SAP is highly desirable.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to risk management and mitigation.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation management skills.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of quality and compliance.
The position is based in the UK, on a hybrid basis, initially with attendance to the client's premises in London as projects kick off. Long-term contract/permanent role available with excellent salary and terms.
