Job Title: Planned Maintenance Commercial Gas Engineer - Salisbury

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at Corrigenda Group Limited in Salisbury. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance across our estate, ensuring compliance with Gas Safe requirements, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out planned maintenance tasks across the estate, utilizing your technical expertise and knowledge of gas systems.
  2. Accurately complete Gas certificates for compliance, adhering to Gas Safe regulations and industry standards.
  3. Identify and complete remedial works during PPM visits, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  4. Work flexible hours to meet business requirements, including out-of-hours call-outs and emergency repairs.
  5. Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, end-users, and the general public, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  6. Escalate issues to the Supervisor/Contract Manager promptly, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
  7. Liaise with site staff to gain access to sites and rooms, facilitating smooth maintenance operations.
  8. Assist the Contract Supervisor in producing repair quotations, providing accurate and detailed information.
  9. Perform other tasks as required by the company, utilizing your skills and experience.
Requirements:

Essential:
• Domestic/Commercial gas certification (CCN1, CENWAT, CODNCCO1, CDGA1, and CIGA1)
• Recognized Health & Safety training
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
• Proficiency in operating SMART devices and completing electronic documentation
• Full UK driving license
• Pass DBS/Police background checks for working in schools/police stations

Desirable:
• NVQ 2/3 in a relevant Mechanical discipline (or equivalent experience)
• OFTEC registered technician or knowledge/experience working on oil-fired appliances/systems
• Unvented water systems
• WRAS Qualification
• Electrical safety training
• IPAF/PASMA qualification
