Sous Chef

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Lounge. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional food quality and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality food production.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement menu plans, kitchen procedures, and staff training programs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of kitchen policies, procedures, and standards.
- Participate in staff training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Overtime pay for every hour worked over contracted hours.

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen environment.

- Knowledge of kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff training.
