Job Title: HVAC Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Supervisor to join our team at PDA Search & Selection. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance workstreams, ensuring that all technical standards are met and regulatory requirements are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the HVAC team to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of maintenance services.
  • Provide technical support and coaching to HVAC technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection process for technician vacancies to ensure the team has the right skills and expertise.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans to drive results.
  • Collaborate with the divisional operations manager to address technical, people, and FM process issues.
  • Ensure that all sites are covered for maintenance services, including reactive and planned maintenance.
  • Audit FM documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Deal promptly with help desk calls and escalate issues to management as necessary.
  • Communicate regularly with customers on all FM activity.
Requirements:
  • SVQ/NVQ level 3 in heating/ventilation/mechanical or equivalent qualification.
  • ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1/1A as a minimum.
  • ACS Domestic Gas Qualifications CCN, CENWAT, CPA as a minimum.
  • City and Guilds 3rd Edition.
  • Understanding of all regulations relevant to the HVAC industry.
  • Strong PC literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to extract, collate, and present data.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, prioritizing, and project management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems.
