Role Overview
This newly established position arises from the growth of the division, which has introduced increased complexity to the accounting team. The organization requires an individual capable of assessing existing financial models, identifying necessary adjustments, and reconstructing them as needed. Additionally, it is essential to ensure that any developed models are durable and suitable for long-term use. You will collaborate closely with both finance and project management teams. The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Transitioning current models into Anaplan while ensuring their reliability for future applications.
  • Engaging with various stakeholders within the finance department and collaborating with project and change management teams.
  • Executing model construction tasks and providing support for the work of colleagues.
  • Training and mentoring accounting staff on the utilization of models as they are handed over to the business-as-usual team.

Qualifications for Success
The ideal candidate may be a qualified accountant with extensive experience in complex model development, or may come from an IT or project management background with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. Critical to this role is proficiency in financial modeling, and the organization is open to diverse professional backgrounds. Furthermore, strong organizational abilities, effective stakeholder engagement skills, and familiarity with Anaplan would be beneficial, though not mandatory.
