About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team at the National Trust. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our cafes operate smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of hospitality staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food and beverage quality.
- Develop and implement effective operational procedures to ensure efficient service delivery and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless food preparation and presentation.
- Supervise the induction and training of new staff members to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor and maintain health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and customers.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Proven experience in a hospitality or food service environment, with a focus on customer service and team leadership.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
