About the Role

You will have sole responsibility for the whole finance function of the business and need to be able to work independently and as part of the team. This will include an ability to work dynamically and adapt to changing business requirements as we grow. As the role is autonomous, you will have the scope to make it your own.

Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly recurring and ad-hoc invoicing in Autotask & Xero
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Reconciling consolidated supplier invoices
  • Month-end reporting and analysis
  • Presenting the company's finances to the team each quarter
  • Monitoring profitability
  • Process implementation & improvement
  • Cashflow forecasting & management
  • Preparing annual budgets
  • Working closely with our accountants to prepare payroll & VAT returns
  • Credit control

About You:

Our ideal candidate will have a strong finance background within a technology company. You will be proactive, self-sufficient, and forward-thinking. High levels of organisation and personal motivation will help you succeed in this role.

Skills:

  • Good working knowledge of Xero and Microsoft Teams
  • Strong communication skills
  • 5+ years of finance experience
  • Ability to manage workload and competing priorities, adapting, and changing direction when needed
  • Highly organised, detail orientated, and able to work autonomously
  • Problem-solving, spotting finance issues and troubleshooting

Qualifications:

  • Degree in any discipline
  • Ideally AAT/CIMA qualified, but not essential
