About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Randstad. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational journey of young students, helping to ignite curiosity and a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support to individual learners or small groups, helping to address their academic, social, and emotional needs.
  • Serve as a positive role model within the classroom, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist teachers with classroom activities, resources, and management, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning experience.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, staff, and families, building trust and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Bring energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to every school day, inspiring young minds and making a lasting impact.
Requirements
  • A deep passion for working with children and inspiring a love for learning.
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above) or equivalent.
  • Experience in working with children or care giving roles, demonstrating a commitment to supporting young people.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • Confidence in supporting students either individually or in small groups, with a focus on promoting academic, social, and emotional growth.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one), ensuring a safe and secure learning environment.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship available), with a valid right to work in the country.
