About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our client, a modern and established manufacturer experiencing strong growth. As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring quality processes are to the highest standard across the business by working alongside internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop quality systems to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventative actions
- Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Aftermarket teams, and Suppliers to ensure site quality and delivery issues are clearly defined, quantified, and effectively addressed
- Manage key suppliers and SQE teams to ensure issues are effectively resolved in a timely manner and ongoing performance is improved
- Support PPAP activities and implement TQM processes across the business
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Quality Management role, with expertise in Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001), problem resolution techniques, and improvement tools
- Strong auditing experience and a process-driven approach to improving quality
- Expert knowledge of advanced quality tools and techniques, such as DFMEA and PPAP
- Experience in a precision machining, fabrication, or plant machinery background is an advantage
