About the Role

Catalyst is seeking a highly skilled PCB Design Engineer to join our team. As a PCB Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating accurate and cost-effective PCB designs that meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate PCB designs that meet project specifications
  • Specify printed circuit boards and manufacturing processes
  • Control all PCB designs and supporting data
  • Integrate PCBs into mechanical assemblies
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components
  • Identify and propose design improvements using Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Ensure minimal component variance and optimize design for manufacturability
  • Manage subcontract design and conduct reliability tests
Requirements
  • Experience in multi-layer PCB design
  • HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Experience with ECadstar, Blueprint, MRP/ERP, and data management software
  • IPC qualification
  • Experience in electricity networks (desirable)
