About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Senior Staff Nurse. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and deliver individualized care to patients, taking into account their unique needs and preferences.
  • Lead and coordinate the care given by colleagues, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Supervise junior staff and students, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and external professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence within the organization.
  • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous records, including daily notes and incident reports.
  • Escalate concerns promptly and appropriately regarding patient well-being, incidents, or staffing issues.
  • Support new and junior staff in their development, ensuring they receive the necessary training and supervision.
  • Act as the Nurse in Charge of the Ward, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
