About The Role

The Generation Team at Ecotricity is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for taking generation projects from concept to final design and build.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Securing grid connections and managing the connection application process
  • Liaising with National Grid, DNOs, and OFGEM
  • Developing specifications and setting employer requirements
  • Managing tendering processes for feasibility studies and project delivery
  • Managing the overall electrical design development from concept to detailed
  • Supporting contract negotiations
  • Providing project management during the construction phase
  • Preparing drawings and carrying out site technical surveys
  • Identifying and managing design risks and communicating to stakeholders
  • Traveling to sites as required and ensuring an onsite presence during development and construction phases

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a higher education qualification in an electrical engineering discipline or similar discipline. You should have experience in the design and operation of electrical equipment and distribution systems, as well as knowledge of wind turbines and solar PV installations and their control systems.
