Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our team at 4Recruitment Services. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team in the preparation and conduct of civil and criminal litigation, as well as attending Court with Counsel.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting in the Preparation and Conduct of Litigation: You will assist in the preparation and conduct of a full range of civil and criminal litigation, including care proceedings, fostering, and adoption.
- Preparation of Statutory Notices and Orders: You will assist in the preparation of statutory notices and orders under various legislation, such as those relating to highways, education, and other areas.
- Contract Administration: You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of contracts and agreements.
- Establishing Good Working Relationships: You will be responsible for establishing good working relationships both internally and externally.
- Compliance with Policies and Procedures: You will ensure compliance with the Authority's Policies and Procedures and report any areas that are not adequately covered to Senior Officers.
- Equality and Diversity: You will participate actively in supporting the organisation's principles and practices of equality of opportunity as laid down within the Equalities Policy.
- Health and Safety: You will be responsible for the application of Health & Safety practices within the daily operations, sharing a common responsibility for Health & Safety across the department, directorate, and organisation as a whole.
