About the Role
As our Engineering Services Manager, you will oversee the transition and change plan from outsourced to in-house FM delivery model, embed the new engineering services team within Practice Plus Group, and ensure continued maintenance provision and reporting is uninterrupted.
Main Responsibilities
As our Engineering Services Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Change Management Program Delivery
Deliver a change management program associated with a model change to the FM hard service provision, incorporating long-term planning around team development and management.
2. Service Delivery Excellence
Ensure the delivery of services to the highest standard, effective management of staff, and provision of excellent customer service.
3. M&E Performance Management
Assist with the effective management of M&E performance, including the incurrence of financial penalties, to ensure all services are delivered to the contract specification.
4. Contract Compliance
Ensure contract compliance with all auditing bodies, both internal and external.
5. Training and Development
Ensure appropriate training provisions on induction and use of equipment, and identify training needs for the service.
6. Subcontractor Management
Manage all associated subcontracted services and ensure subcontractors can carry out their duties in a safe and timely manner.
7. Continuous Improvement
Champion continuous improvement, energy efficiency, and environmental improvements.
8. Deputising
Deputise for the Head of Facilities Management, Hard Services, in their absence.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
1. NVQ Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical
2. Good knowledge of Building Services
3. Great time management skills
4. Excellent problem-solving skills
5. Experience of delivering Change Management programs
6. Desirable experience of working within a Healthcare setting
What We Offer
We offer:
1. A salary range of £55,000 - £60,000 per annum based on experience
2. An initial 6-month fixed-term contract with potential to go permanent
3. Hours: Monday to Friday
4. An extensive range of wellbeing and lifestyle benefits
5. Days holiday plus bank holidays (based on a 6-month contract)
6. Mandatory training through our excellent in-house education program
