Traffic Operations Coordinator

About The Position
EKFB is a collaborative venture that integrates top-tier expertise from four prominent civil engineering and construction firms: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction, and BAM Nuttall. Together, we specialize in the design, construction, operation, financing, and maintenance of railway infrastructures, including one of Europe's latest high-speed rail initiatives.
We are seeking a Traffic Operations Coordinator to become a vital member of our route-wide Interface Management team. This position will primarily be based in a central location, with necessary travel to various site compounds across the region.
Your responsibilities will include managing the interactions with all project stakeholders regarding consent requirements, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and within budgetary constraints. You will play a crucial role in assisting teams to achieve key milestones while adhering to compliance standards.
Building and nurturing relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities and consent-granting bodies, will be essential. You will collaborate with the Highways Consent Manager to forecast future works and resource needs effectively.
A significant aspect of this role involves coordinating road closures to prevent network conflicts. You will also assist the Highways Consent Manager in fostering early engagement with consent-granting bodies to ensure timely approvals through structured pre-application processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Traffic Management for major infrastructure initiatives.
- Design Temporary Traffic Management solutions.
- Utilize AutoCAD for project planning.
- Apply knowledge of all relevant traffic management guidelines and regulations.
- Maintain familiarity with Street Manager and the NRSWA framework.
- Possess a valid driving license.
