Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Deliveries and Logistics: Safely and efficiently transport goods to various destinations, ensuring timely and reliable delivery.

Load Management and Safety: Properly secure, handle, and transport loads, adhering to all safety standards and regulations.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, confirm orders with customers, and address any issues or discrepancies.

Documentation and Compliance: Accurately complete all required delivery paperwork and submit it to the office promptly, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks and necessary maintenance on the vehicle to keep it in optimal condition.

Requirements:

  • Class 2 Driving License: Must hold a valid UK Class 2 license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Class 2 Driver, particularly in the transport and logistics sector, is preferred.
  • Geographical Knowledge:
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Physical Fitness: Capable of meeting the physical demands of loading and unloading goods.
  • Reliability: Strong work ethic, dependability, and ability to work independently.
