MEP Project Manager

The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled MEP Project Manager to join our team at Heathrow Airport. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and quality projects that exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide pre-construction support and manage interfaces with clients, designers, and third parties.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the project, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with site management, technical specialists, commercial staff, planners, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate project inputs and outputs with various departments, including H&S, Quality, Commercial, Project Controls, and Environmental.
- Maintain high personal standards in health and safety and support others in adopting ASAR and LIFE initiatives.
- Drive quality delivery through effective planning and right-first-time delivery.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor project teams and other team members.
- Manage, supervise, and mentor the project team as appropriate.
- Achieve cost-conscious management through efficient use of resources.
- Establish and maintain an effective schedule-based cost management system.
- Ensure realistic schedules are prepared, managed, monitored, reviewed, and updated according to project requirements.
- Ensure processes are in place for method statements, activity plans, and risk assessments.
- Ensure timely preparation of records for payment purposes.
- Make necessary site-based appointments with suitably trained and experienced staff.
- Use effective communication methods to communicate with the project team.
- Keep line management apprised of potential risks and opportunities.
- Maintain close working relationships with company support departments.
- Support staff under supervision in achieving performance and development goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry progress and developments.
- Establish close working relationships with Agents, engineers, and works supervisory staff.
- Airport experience or critical areas experience.
- Experience working in an international organization.
- Experience managing complex projects or packages for a Main Contractor.
- Experience in stakeholder management.
- Member of the APM or equivalent.
