Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Technician to join our team at A2Z Employment Ltd. As a Mobile HGV Technician, you will be responsible for conducting regular inspections and maintenance on HGVs and specialist vehicles to ensure they meet compliance and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct Periodic Maintenance Inspections (PMI) on HGVs and specialist vehicles to ensure they meet compliance and safety standards.
* Perform routine inspections and minor repairs to maintain the optimal condition of vehicles.
* Identify any maintenance issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
* Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures during all tasks.
* Work independently as this is a fully field-based role with no workshop on-site.

Requirements:

* HGV City & Guilds or an equivalent qualification (or ability to demonstrate an equivalent skill level).
* HGV Driving Licence.
* Solid knowledge of HGV MOT laws and requirements.
* Experience conducting PMIs and minor repairs.
* Familiarity with diagnostic equipment.
* Understanding of Health and Safety laws.
* Customer-focused approach with a professional attitude.
