Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Repairs Team Lead to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of high-performing repairs operatives and ensuring the delivery of high standards of work quality and efficient use of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake a range of complex diagnostics and coordinate multi-trade repair projects for repairs affecting multiple properties, demonstrating proficient level skills and experience across a range of trades, including carpentry, plumbing, decorating, plastering, and tiling.
  • Carry out tool box talks and one-to-one meetings with operatives, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct pre- and post-inspections on tenanted properties to ensure that repairs are completed to a high standard and that properties are safe and habitable.
  • Manage the void team to ensure that voids are delivered within the agreed timescale.
  • Attend evening team meetings and ensure a responsive service to internal and external customer needs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety rules and regulations in all work activities, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees and customers.
