Project Engineering Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineering Manager to join our team at NRL Recruitment. As a Project Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
  2. Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
  3. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  4. Manage and mitigate project risks, including identifying and addressing potential issues.
  5. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and partners.
  7. Monitor and report on project progress, including financial performance, timelines, and quality metrics.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address project risks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
