At Bright Horizons, we're seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years professional to join our team as a Bank Staff Member. As a Bank Staff Member, you'll have the flexibility to work on a part-time or full-time basis, depending on your needs and availability.
About the RoleWe're looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and education to young children. As a Bank Staff Member, you'll be responsible for supporting our nursery teams in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, engaging children in entertaining and educational play, and ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities- Support nursery colleagues in delivering the EYFS curriculum
- Engage children in entertaining and educational play and activities
- Ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding
- Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment
- Full and relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working with children (nursery practitioner, nursery nurse, early years educator, nanny, childminder, or similar)
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
- Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable
