Salary Range: £30,000 to £42,000 (OTE) + Company Vehicle

ISQ Recruitment Ltd is on the lookout for a proficient and experienced Mobile Service Technician to support one of our prominent clients in the electric vehicle sector. This position entails diagnosing, repairing, and servicing electric vehicles both at client locations and within the workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnosing and repairing electric vehicles, including buses, vans, and cars at various locations
  • Performing maintenance and assembly tasks for electric vehicles, both on-site and in the workshop
  • Regular travel across the UK and occasional international assignments
  • Engaging effectively with customers on-site

Essential Duties:
  • Conducting diagnostics and repairs on electric vehicles
  • Providing roadside assistance and servicing at customer locations
  • Maintaining electric vehicles to ensure optimal performance
  • Assembling electric vehicles in production, including the assembly and disassembly of motors, gearboxes, and power electronics
  • Interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and specifications
  • Performing diagnostic checks and quality assurance on completed work
  • Traveling frequently to client sites or suppliers across the UK and occasionally abroad
  • Communicating with customers effectively while on-site

Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 3 or HNC/BTEC in Engineering
  • Valid UK driver's license

Key Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in breakdown and roadside repairs, preferably with electric vehicles
  • Strong diagnostic skills with proficiency in diagnostic software, both electrical and mechanical
  • Over 4 years' experience in vehicle maintenance, including knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics (electrical bias is a plus)
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in the field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams & SharePoint)
  • Awareness of Health & Safety regulations and proper use of PPE
