Deploy UK Rail is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Design Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of Design Engineers and Technicians, ensuring design review and approval.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the engineering team, based in Nottingham and Dubai
  • Report to the senior leadership team
  • Contribute to business growth by participating in strategy meetings
  • Ensure adherence to engineering legislation, standards, and client requirements
  • Oversee adherence to SHEQ and CDM regulations

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Design Manager, Design Supervisor, or Design Team Leader, preferably within the electrical engineering sector (LV / building services / M&E, HV, power, ICP / new connections)
  • Experience as an Electrical Design Engineer with the required organisational and leadership skills to progress into a Design Manager position
  • Understanding of electrical engineering and electrical networks, LV, 11kV, 33kV, 132kV
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • UK driving licence
