Job Title: Community Care Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Care Officer to join our team at East Ayrshire Council. As a Community Care Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable adults in their own homes, promoting independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support vulnerable adults with personal and social care needs
  • Encourage independence and promote community involvement
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies to deliver integrated care services
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure effective care planning
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, families, and carers

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Experience of working with vulnerable adults and their familiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamKnowledge of relevant legislation and policies
