About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Solutions Design and Applications Engineer to join our team at Hager Ltd. As a key member of our Project Support Centre Team, you will play a crucial role in the continued growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to Project Sales Managers and Tendering Engineers for tailored solutions projects, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Finalize electro-mechanical designs for non-standard projects, adhering to internal and external standards, regulations, and quality guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematic design, wiring diagrams, and Bill of Materials (BOM), to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support production teams during manufacturing and assembly processes, ensuring efficient and high-quality production.
  • Standardize designs for internal use and collaborate with Tendering Engineers to ensure accurate customer orders and meet business objectives.
  • Continuously improve processes and update knowledge to enhance profitability, customer experience, and overall business performance.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • First-hand experience in design and applications in an electrical environment, with knowledge of manufacturing processes and applicable standards (IEC 61439, IEC).
  • Proven experience working with multiple stakeholders, effective in individual and team contexts, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in 3D software is advantageous, with training provided for specific software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
  • Commitment to learning and personal development, with a desire to grow and contribute to the company's success.
