As a key player, you will enhance Royal Mail International (RMI) and Parcelforce's customer reach across 200 countries. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on improving our offerings to a diverse range of account customers, from small and medium enterprises venturing into exports for the first time to large e-commerce companies with established international markets. Our International team is committed to expanding our customers' export capabilities and significantly contributing to the company's profitability.

In this role, you will provide valuable insights and have the opportunity to drive change and achieve success as a Market Insight and Marketing Integration Manager within our International division. Reporting to the Export Account Director, your role will be crucial in collaborating with Marketing and Insight teams to enhance the knowledge base of the International sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Review diverse sources of market, customer, competitor, and economic insights to formulate a strategy that significantly enhances the availability and application of insights within the export team and across Royal Mail/Parcelforce International.

• Identify, assess, and quantify potential growth areas, risks, and commercial returns.

• Collaborate with Royal Mail and Parcelforce International's Commercial marketing, insight, and economics teams to extract international-specific insights, reports, and market summaries when necessary.

• Enhance competitor intelligence by initiating and managing a competitor research and monitoring program focused on pricing, product offerings, and commercial developments.

• Contribute to the product roadmap and all development plans, including pricing strategies.

• Partner with Sales and Customer Service to derive actionable insights from a comprehensive International Voice of Customer approach, while closely collaborating with RM Marketing teams to ensure that the needs of the International sector are effectively managed and evaluated.

• Analyze trends in product performance and the success of product modifications, presenting and owning improvement strategies based on insights and feedback.

• Work closely with RM Marketing teams to ensure that the requirements of the International sector are adequately addressed.

Candidate Profile
To excel in this position, you should possess the following skills and experience:


• Proficiency in synthesizing complex narratives, prioritizing key messages, and expertise in generating and applying insights.

• Ability to swiftly analyze multiple and intricate sources of qualitative and quantitative data and research, transforming them into actionable insights.

• Strong communication skills, capable of synthesizing and articulating various market, customer, and competitor trends and developments in a manner that directly influences product and pricing strategies.

• Comprehensive understanding of the broader business landscape, including its markets, customers, and partners.

• Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, utilizing market and commercial insights to drive results.

• Highly numerate, capable of sourcing complex data and presenting clear recommendations to senior executives based on this data.

• Knowledge and experience in International distribution is advantageous, including an understanding of macroeconomic and geopolitical factors that impact export businesses.

• Highly motivated with a proactive approach to performance ownership.

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and motivate virtual teams across various functions.
