Clinical Negligence Department Overview:Our Clinical Negligence team provides compassionate and expert guidance to families affected by medical negligence. We specialize in 'no win no fee' claims, assisting clients in seeking compensation for medical injuries. Our dedicated team handles a variety of cases, including birth injuries, cosmetic surgery mishaps, dental negligence, and misdiagnosis.
Key Responsibilities:- Report directly to the Department Director.
- Maintain a professional and proactive approach, demonstrating strong client care skills.
- Assist with casework related to Clinical Negligence.
- Engage with clients, gather instructions, and prepare cases.
- Manage correspondence effectively.
- Handle a diverse caseload from inception to resolution.
- Draft documents, including witness statements and evidence processing.
- Attend client meetings and court proceedings.
- Ensure accurate timekeeping and billing practices.
- Implement supervisor recommendations following monthly file reviews.
- Adhere to compliance standards in file management.
- Demonstrated passion and experience in Clinical Negligence.
- Strong academic credentials, including a Law degree.
- Previous legal experience as a Clinical Negligence Paralegal or Advisor.
- Comprehensive understanding of Clinical Negligence and CPR Laws.
- Business acumen with the ability to promote the firm.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities, with a capacity for independent initiative.
- A committed team player, self-motivated and professional.
- Proficient IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and document management.
