Compressed Air Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Compressed Air Engineer to join our team at WEG Tech. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our compressed air systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing on compressors and compressed air systems.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns, identifying required parts and completing necessary repairs.
  • Provide detailed reports and share insights with the management team.
  • Offer clients recommendations for system enhancements to improve customer satisfaction, retention, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the compressed air industry.
  • Understanding of air dryers, filtration, and pipework systems.
  • Knowledge of major compressed air systems (e.g., Hydrovane, Atlas Copco, HPC, Compair).
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety standards.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to provide advice and engage effectively with clients.
  • Diagnostic abilities to identify and resolve issues.
  • Full UK driving license.
